Originally born in Colombia but raised in Aotearoa. Bibiana lived in Auckland for majority of her life before relocating to Rotorua with her son. 

She completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2020 and recently followed this with a post graduate certificate in advanced nursing. As a new graduate nurse, she had the opportunity of working at Te What Ora – Lakes Hospital in the Orthopaedic/Gynaecology Unit where she gained an excellent grounding of clinical skills and experience in pre and post operative care, rehabilitation, and care of chronic conditions. Working in a secondary care hospital inspired her to pursue a public nursing role as she feels very strongly about contributing to the health and well-being of the local community. 

When she\’s not working, she enjoys spending summer days at the surrounding lakes or winter nights at the thermal pools and enjoying the many eatery\’s Rotorua has to offer.
