Diversity

Rainbow communities is an umbrella term that covers a diverse range of sexual orientations, as well as gender and sex identities. The acronym LGBTTQIA+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, takatāpui, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual.  This includes the terms pansexual, omnisexual, fluid and queer-identified which are regarded as falling under the umbrella term bisexual.

At Ranolf Medical Centre, we respect our patient’s individual beliefs and identities. All are welcome and everyone should expect the same level of respect and care. If we fail to meet your expectations of us, please let us know how we can do better.

“Diversity is the range of human differences, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs.”
