Sharon has been in General Practice for over 20 years.  A long-time resident of Rotorua she came to Rotorua for a year and never left.  Sharon worked at Rotorua hospital for a few years and then did her general practice training in Rotorua.

What drew Sharon to medicine was her love of children.  Originally she wanted to be a teacher, but at the time there were fewer job prospects.  So she chose a career in medicine with a special interest in paediatrics and women.

Sharon enjoys working at Ranolf Medical Centre as part of the caring and  skilled team.

Out of work Sharon enjoys the lakes and forests on our doorstep.
