He uri tēnei nō Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Kauwhata, Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, Ngāti Māmoe me Ngai Tahu anō hoki.

Wharerakau was born and raised in Palmerston North.
She moved here to Rotorua in December of 2023.
However, her roots connect her back to Raukōkore.
A rural area within her iwi, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, and her idea of paradise.

Wharerakau is deeply passionate in Te Ao Māori.
She is involved in competitive kapa haka with her iwi, loves all forms of māori performing arts and is especially passionate in giving back to her iwi, her hapū, her people and her whānau.

With only 4 years of retail under her belt, Wharerakau now looks at showing her love for her people and her passion of giving back to them, by being a voice and a form of support for ngā iwi māori me ngā tamariki-mokopuna enrolled with us here at Ranolf Medical.
